Mai Ezz El Din on Feesh wa Tashbeeh September 10th: Tonight in Feesh wa Tashbeeh on Al Kahera Wal Nas Lamis El Hadidy interviews Egyptian actress Mai Ezz El Din. Ezz El Din started acting at a very young age in school plays. In 2001 director Mohamed El Nagar chose her to star with Mohamed Foad in the movie ‘Rehlet Hob’ because of her beauty and  talent. Her second screen appearance was in the TV series ‘Ayn Qalbi’ where she was discovered and became popular. Ezz El Din is one of the few female actresses in Egypt who only acts in movies. Ahmed Fouad Negm on Lemaza? September 10th: Tonight in Lemaza? on Al Kahera Wal Nas Tony Khalifa interviews Egyptian dialect poet Ahmed Foud Negm.  Negm is famous for his revolutionary, patriotic poetry. Negm was appointed by the Egyptian government as a laborer in mechanical workshops. He was imprisoned for 3 years for forgery.  During this time, he won first place in a writing competition organized by the Supreme Council for Arts. After that he published his first collection of poetry entitled ‘Pictures from Life and Prison’. Negm then became a popular poet on Egyptian radio. Ammar El Sherei on Bab El Shams September 10th: Tonight in Bab El Shams on Al Kahera Wal Nas Rula Jebreal interviews Egyptian Composer Ammar El Sherei.  El Sherei is one of Egypt’s most talented composers even though he is blind. He has worked with many famous artists such as Latifa, Ali El Haggar, Warda and others.  Watch El Sherei talk about real music that he feels has faded away from our society.
