Julian Shnabel on Bab El Shams on September 18th: Tonight on Bab El Sahms Rula interviews American Oscar nominated Director Julian Schnabel. Schnabel is an American artist and filmmaker. He has been acclaimed at Cannes and has won a Golden Globe,César Award, Golden Palm as well as BAFTA,  and two nominations for the Golden Lion and an Academy Award nomination. Schnabel is also the interior decorator of the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. His art works are in the collections of various museums throughout the world such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Museum of Modern Art; Reina Sofia, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and others.
