Her movie Mozakerat Moraheka  (A Teenager's Memoires) is about a girl's sexual freedom, and  her movie Lahm Rekhees (Cheap Flesh) is about families prostituting their daughters to rich men in the Gulf.El Degheidy is constantly attacked for her movies that are about controversial topics or include controversial scenes  which are considered taboo in Egyptian culture.  Tony interviews El Degheidy about her opinion on women and religion, and asks her what she'd do if she discovered that her daughter was a lesbian and more bold questions.
